Just recently installed a Roush CAI on my 09 GT and it starts and idles fine no codes or errors but when I punch it it boggs down for a split second and then takes off I was told the computer has not registered it yet and has to be driver for a bit to adjust. Is this true?

 

Unhook the battery for 10 minutes to reset the computer

 

^Just the negative battery terminal, and it's for 5 minutes.

Hello guys I tried this and even left the battery disconected for about 4 hours and it still is doing the same thing.Anymore suggestions?

 

Check to make sure your MAF sensor is in all the way or clean it carefully!

 

Thanks but this is a brand new car and the MAF is all the way in and clean.
Like I said it starts and runs fine but when you get on it it give a deep growl and hesitates and takes off like a rocket.
