Default 1998 mustang problem

Hi! I am new here, and I bring with my new-ness a problem. I just purchased a 1998 mustang, 6 cylinder, and I drive it down the road for say, 10-20 minutes, and it starts to act like it isn't getting fuel. It is real sluggish, and it has no power at all... i took it back to the dealer and their mechanic said it was the fuel filter, which he changed, and yet it still does the same thing. So, I am wondering if anyone has had simliar issues, and can maybe tell me which sensor it MIGHT be? any help would be appreciated, thank you!
