Default Gauge Cluster quit working

We sold a 1998 GT the other day and the ODO quit working. Shortly after that the Speedo quit working. To me it sounds like a bad cluster. Any other opinions?

To me, it sounds like a bad speedo head....but why do you care if you sold it?

I had to ask. Not too many that care once they sell something. Is it cable driven or electric? If electric, could be bad sender.
