Default Leaking transmission seal

I have the 4r70w transmission(automatic).
The seal for oil changes looks like it's leaking...Just a bit....like a drop here and there, and it only leaks when the cars running and moving around. Not when it's off.

-I have a 2 hr. trip tomorrow, can I just smear some heat resistant silicone around the seal for now, and fix it afterwards?

I know jack about transmissions, so someone throw me a bone

If it's leaking as slow as you say. Just make sure it's full and let it be. Fix it later.

Thanks.
Your gonna think I'm retarded. But how the hell do you tell by the dipstick? It's not like an engine oil dipstick(like I'm used to.)

The dipstick looks like it covers both sections, and all the little dots have a bit of the red oil on there.

Not considering anyone a retard. This is what a forum is for. Ask and get answers. If you already knew the answer. Why post?

As for the level. Warm the transmission fluid. Checking after driving is the most convienient. Park on level ground. Shift the transmission into drive and reverse for a couple seconds then finally park. Yank the stick, wipe it dry. Reinsert and pull it for a reading.
