Hey there, I am trying to bleed the front brakes on my 01 gt and after 2 hours and 3 quarts of brake fluid, still got a mushy pedal. I understand my car has a hydroboost system, Is there a "special" procedure to bleed those systems? I have been bleeding this car just like any other... IE, pump 3 times, hold, open bleeder, close bleeder, repeat... I dont understand how I could use so much fluid and still not have a pedal. I removed both front calipers to paint them earlier today, that was it... I am totaly confused???? Any help would be appreciated as i need to drive this car to work tomarow. thanks.

 

why did you feel you needed to bleed the brakes after painting the calipers?

how 'bad' does the pedal feel?
