We just bought an 04 Mustang Conv. and after checking with Ford found out that the car came with the keyless remote setup.The dealer gave me a couple of keyfob remotes that had the correct serial #. Put new batteries in and did the 8 key turn to set the remote but it didn't work. Any other tips or tricks to getting these to work? And by the way, great forum you guys have here. I'm usually on the motorcycle forums but since I bought this for the wife I thought I'd better come up with a resource for info on the Stang. Thanks

they have how to program them in your manual. Try again if it still doesnt work, bring it back.

 

Yeah there is a programming set-up in the manual. Make whre You point the key fob at the center stack of vents when programming.

 

have the dealer do it save a needless headache when we got ours new keyfobs from ford the dealer we bought the car from did it from did for free
