Default Tailpipe

Hello,

I was wondering if you can do anything to a rusted stock tailpipe to make it look not so bad? I don't have money for a replacement at the moment, but was wondering if any quick fixes exist like maybe spray paint? Actually spray paint would look bad...but you get my drift

you can try sanding it, or there is a chemical called ospho that is basically a rust fixative. it will turn it from the orangish-red color to a black-grey color, and it acts almost as a primer for paint. you can pick it up at most hardware stores.
