Rear end/axle "play"

Rear end/axle "play"
I've been noticing a slight clunking noise coming from my passenger-side rear suspension the past few days. I moved the suspension up/down with no problem noise. When I push the passenger-side rear quarter panel to the side, I can feel about 1/4'' of play. When I push the driver's side, there is no play. I checked all of my suspension components and they're all torqued down and tight. I think it's either in the axles or rear diff. I also jacked it up and tried to move the tire back and forth and it's tight so the wheel bearings seem to be fine. I'm hoping my diff isn't going bad. Any ideas/similar experiences?

I actually did upgrade the panhard. It's a double rod-end type from UMI Performance. I do still have the factory panhard brace though. My entire rear axle is rod-end type on lower and upper CA and the chassis-side is all polymer bushing, maybe that explains the "play". Maybe a rod end is defective. Or a bushing bad.
Could be a lot of things, but when under the car moving the body side-side I don't see ANY play in my suspension yet still hear the clunking on the passenger-side axle area.
