I have a 2006 Mustang GT and have tuned it with an SCT SF3 Powerflash tuner. The tune I used is a custom tune from American Muscle and is the 93+ octane tune. The only problem I have had is that I went today to get emissions tested and when they plugged into my ecu, my sensors did not pass inspection. The tuner has obviously turned off the o2 and other sensors, so I cannot pass inspection. I tried returning the car to factory defaults and the car still did not pass. Please advise me on what I should do to get those sensors back on. Thank you for the help!

 

Doesn't make sense...Is your check engine light on? I never heard of a tuner being able to turn off your sensors.

 

No, there is no check engine light on, but the monitoring systems keep failing the emissions test.

 

STBU... When i changed tuners from Diablo to the SCT flip chip my car ran crapy. i had to takeout the sct chip go to my ford dealer and have them REFLASH the stock programing. then re install the sct chip. now everythings gravy. I got this done 4 free cuz i was still under ext warenty at the time and my excuse for needing my PCM reprogramed was that i just put in 3.73 gears and my speedo was all jacked up. GOOD LUCK MAKING UP AN EXCUSE THE FORD DEALER WILL EXCEPT.
