Hi everyone, I'm nearing graduation on my senior year of high school and plan to buy a new car. I'm not sure which is the best year to get. I want plan on getting a GT and atleast a 2002 because I like their functional hood scoop; however in '03 or '04 did they change any engine internals? And if so, what? I'm not sure if this is a correct data but on:

it lists the '04 running 6.3 14.8
while the '99 - '03 runs 5.5 14.1

Is that a mistake or did they do something wrong with the '04s

The hood scoop in not functional. They do look good though!

There is no difference in the performance from 99-04.

They may have tested an automatic in their 04 test... not sure though.

 

Should be the same motor throughout 99-04.

Although the Mach 1's and cobras had a 32valve engine in them. Correct me if I'm wrong.
