My Plans...

because they don't know what they are talking about...
being conservative - navi motor - $2500, + trans (depends on what you want) $1,000. Fugged up older vert - $2500, cobra body probably around $1,000.... this all depends on how much you can do yourself and what deals you find, 10K is doable, but very tight... and you wont get a supercharger for that. But I say build your car, these cars aren'y worth much anyway and in anything stockish form they are slow... so who cares. I advise getting the chasis first (and preferably one that only need motor/trans) - buy your motor and get it running, then buy all the other crap.

OP: you dont have the funds to be fast and unique at the same time. that budget is just too small.

OK, i have started my search, i found a very good 2000 v6 coupe for 1900, needs front (which i was going to put a cobra front on anyway) cap no frame damage everything under the hood still intact, but i really want a convertible, would you guys pass up this deal, if i get a coupe i would want to add a sunroof that would cost about a grand including install. so should i wait to run across what i really want.
P.S. $10k wasnt set in stone, it would just be a goal for the completing of the vehicle

ok, guy circumstance were looking good for my plans recently, a storm came through and knocked a huge tree on my friend 5.4 2004 f150 but he believe that his insurace company may total it out, but now i actually have a chance to get the motor, i'm second thinking it, by looking at its stock specs, so i have a question for everyone...
how much do u think it would cost to build a 393 fuel injected cost?
do you think it would be easier to have a nice completed project in my 10k range including the car?
