Its an auto 01? Just hold the brake, then hit the gas, holding the brake still, then ease up the brake until you hear your tires spinnnin or smoke appears.

My gf has the same car, I do them all the time to **** people off

Friend of mine told me that if you're real good with the manual you'll learn how to heel toe it instead of jumping on the brake after you get it going.

I haven't tried it yet, been to ***** about the stock clutch to kill it like that. I've dumped it once or twice from about 4000rpm and burned out but I didn't get on the brake. Yet. I'm thinking of trying it soon anyway and taking a nice vid.

Um, first turn off the traction control, if you have that option... second, put the car in 1st gear and rev the engine to 4-5 thousand rpm.. third let the cluch out.. As the car begins to spin, place your left foot on the brake.. You have to do it quick, but dont apply too much pressure.. Hold the the throttle around 5k and enjoy.. If your going to do this, Id do it in an area where you have room until you get used to controlling the car.. Dont crash your new GT, trying to be cool... That wouldnt be cool at all... lol
Do any of you really come close to a 5K clutch drop to incinerate your tires like this yob? I just blip the throttle one or two times and let her rip...

Before I clicked on the vid just looking at the still I thought that was an SL55 AMG. The rims look so similar. They do a very impressive burnout too...

I never do a burnout over with the engine over 3000rpm.

Also I found that in a New Edge V6 that has the open diff, if you dont want a one tire fire, just start doing a burnout and roll ahead a bit. The other tire will start spinning.
