Honestly, I'd also be interested in the answer to this question. In theory it could work. What may help you is knowing what the CFM of a stock, normally aspirated engine is. Then you could evaluate whether or not it COULD work. It is possible t hat at higher RPM's you could be hurting/hindering air flow with this installed.

Years ago, there was an old "trick" VW fans used to do & that was to make a "T" fitting to fit in the carb & run the heater hoses to the "T". When the car would accellerate, the fan would blow harder & provided a blower effect. THe downside is that the air would blow too much at idle & cause the carb float bowl to overflow.

ANYWAY... what could be nice about the electric blower would be that it is possible to shut off the "blower" with a switch when it is not desired. Also, it could be configured to "boost more as the idle goes up for a more accurate effect. Well, let us know what you find out!

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

i have wondered the same thing...in theory it would work...sucking more air into the engine but it doesn't look powerful enough to acually do that

it says it flows 500cfm of air. that will kill power, not help it.

There are hundreds of "mods" on eBay that try to sell you stuff that usually hurt your performance. The thing is that they appeal to the home mechanic that reads it and says, "yeah, in theory, this would work!" (IAT sensor mods, hairdryer "superchargers, etc.")--so all you can do is beware, and ask in here for advice before bidding.

Bottom line: Unless the "supercharger" tells you exactly how many pounds of boost it is capable of inecting into your engine, it is only an obstruction in the air intake tubes. If it sounds too good to be true, in this business, it DEFINITELY IS. Good luck, and beware of cheap "amazing new mods."
