Default octane gas usuage

i got a 1995 mustang gt 5sp,5.0, with the following, full bbk exghuast front to rear 2.5 in, underdrive pullies, 3.73 gears, 75 mm throttle body, performance plugs and wires, cold air intake bbk, which octane gas should i use?

Just wanted to know from some real mustangs guys thanks.

I would assume the highest available at your Gas station... 91 or 93? I'm not sure though

i think you should be just fine with regular unleaded, maybe mid grade. premium isn't going to do anything but waste your money.

You want to run the lowest grade gas possible without detonation(pinging).In your case I think you'd be fine with 87,as you don't have any timing mods or FI. There's a common misconception that running higher octane gas = more HP.
