I have a 01 gt that i am in the process of installing a vortech supercharger system. Vortech will reprogram my ECM. But i was wondering what aftermarket tuners everyone recomended for additional tuning from there. [8D]

don't trust any tune just given to you for a blower. even if it is vortech. i didn't really know exactly how different cars were with blowers until a couple days ago. they were tuning an 05 with a vortech and i was only there for 2 hours and he still couldn't get it right. the AF kept dipping down towards the end. the last 05 he did said it took him almost 4 days to tune it just right. he said mine was a big pain in the *** too. if the cars are basically the same, sometimes he'll start with the same tune that worked on another car and it would be way off for the other one.

guy said that for n/a, the tunes you get from companies and such are pretty accurate, but if you go F/I. best to get it dyno tuned, unless you want to be scraping pieces of your car off the road.

 

Thanks for the info i planned on a dyno tune but i didnt know if there where any personal tuners on the market that would work for this situation. I guess not .
