Default Possible transmission problem?

I think I may have a tranny problem in my 95 Mustang convertible. Everytime the automatic trans changes gears, it quivers the entire car. It has gotten slowly worse over the last couple of months. I cannot drive it in overdrive anymore because the vibration is so bad. Has anyone else had this problem? And is it definitely the transmission and will it have to be replaced? I would appreciate any help!

Thanks,
Sarah

if i was you I would just go pickup another trans from a salvage yard that will fit right into your stang. you could get one for prolly 300. bucks and I am sure anyone could put it in for you. do NOT take it to a trans shop because I got screwed taking my kids Beretta to one of them places. to make a long story short it costed me 2 grand for a trans rebuild when I only paid 2 grand for the whole car !!
after the fac i found out i could have gotten a trans from a salvagge yard for about 350. bucks.
sick yeah i was sick...[:'(] mechanics will try to screw a woman because they think we don't know any different so just be careful ok?

I agree, I got screwed over when my radiator cracked. Sometimes it is easier just to have my dad take it to the mechanics cause he can get stuff done cheaper!

Thanks for the advice! I will start scouring the salvage yards for a good transmission. I think my dad could probably put it in for me, or I'll find someone who can just do the labor.
