Default Oil on spark plugs

Okay, so I was changing my spark plugs today after work, and when i pulled on of the plugs out I noticed it had oil on it. It was on the passenger side all the way in the back. Don't know if it matters but it was only about an hour after I drove 30 mins home. I obviously know that this isn't good, I just don't know what cuases this. If anybody knows and has any pionters, I thank you in advance.

Thanks All!!!!!

Was the oil on the electrode and the base of the spark plug (the business end) or on the exposed part (the white insulation, etc)?

If it was on the business end, you either have worn rings or a leaking valve guide seal. If it was on the exposed part of the plug, you have a leak somewhere else, most likely the valve cover gasket.
