Pretty generic request, but yes, the LM1 catback sounds sweet by itself, if you are looking at doing any type of off road mid pipe, then I would look at the LM2's. Engine wise? What are your goals? Keep it N/A, supercharge? Nitrous? For sharper throttle body response you can get a 70 or 75mm TB, Plenium for better air flow, Cold Air intake (though it is mostly for looks). The more expensive mods come with the H/C/I, or Heads, cams, intake. You just need to define your budget and what your goals are.

Some of my goals are getting it fast around 475 to 500 hp without supercharging it. I was gonna go with exhaust first just bc I hate the stock sound and then the bolt on mods like cold air intake, pulleys, spark plug wires stuff like that the first thing that I would do that is a litle more expensive would be cams probaly... Idk. I also want it to look good to ya know. Right now I have the stock rims on what would be the best rims that would look good too? My car is black.

Thanks

do you have the money for all that stuff or is that just a long time ultimate goal?

exhaust is all preference...

i have money for some of it but not all. It wont take me that long to make the money for the rest. thats why i was wanting to know wat the first thing i should do to my engine. Bc i know for sure that im getting exhaust first, yea i had a 1996 mustang gt 5 speed with flowmasters and bbk headers and i didnt like it that much so i know that im not going to get that again, I think im going to go with the SLP LM2 or LM1.

Thanks

Are you doing this for race purposes or just to have it? What you will want to do is build a list that way you don't do one mod then realize that won't work with your plans. Like what I have done is made a list aimed for a 11.75 second car, since anything faster than 11.5 requires a rollcage. Also, don't forget, HP is no good if you can't get the power to the ground, you will also need to look at suspension. For the exhaust, I would do longtubes, short catted midpipe and LM2's.

For my stock 5.0, I just added a Magnaflow catted X pipe(one of the stock cats clogged up). To my surprise, the exhaust actually sounds real nice now. It's not loud, but adds a nice rhythmic pulse. The stock mufflers actually sound good. They are just a bit too quiet. It might be a route for you to take. Again, just a suggestion.
