Default T-5 Vs. T-56

I was wondering what you all think about this issue? Application would say be daily driving and weekend track fun and everything in between. Was kinda of unsure which path i should choose, I have a few buddies with the Tremec TKO 5spd in their fox body and I was wondering if I should just go for something different or if Tremec is really the way to go. Modification is no issue. Just oppinions on the situation would be rad!!

I broke a T56 with less than 400 rwhp, they are not as strong as people think, unless you upgrade the internals. Also keep in mind the final drive ratio is not much different than a T5.
BTW Tremec makes the TKO, the T5 and the T56.

It was 100%. It was when I owned my 2001 Camaro SS. I just see a ton of people who think these trans are the end all be all, just because they have 6 gears. More is not always better, I think I only used 6th gear a couple times in that car.

i agree that they aren't the hottest thing out there, but with a 26 spline input shaft they can hold their own...

I killed the 3rd gear syncros and blocker rings. Input shaft was fine.
