definitely need to check ptv clearance and some upgraded springs are needed any waycause im assuming the operating range is quite a bit higher than stock correct? is there any reason you want to go with this particular camshaft?

You would be better off with the E303 and some 1.6 rockers. Thats a pretty safe setup and it sounds awsome! My buddy installed that in his and it runs and sounds like no other.

dood you dont have to just buy a ford alphabetical cam. go to comp cams they have some wicked cams that your ptv will be ok with. besides valve springs are not that expensive/hard to replace.

X303 is just fine with stock valve springs as long as they dont got a **** load of miles on em. Definitly check the valve clearance. I run a wolverine cam .496/.510 with 1.72 omegas, I also use heavy duty double dampend springs though. What heads are you runnin that you would use this cam? Most people over cam their motors and actually lose power. So you might wanna check into what would be a better cam for your setup.

yeah im jus gunna go fer a mild build up i think id prolly replace tha rockers n springs if i got a new cam, but id jus leave the heads fer now. after lookin more into tha e 303 cam it seems like itd suit my needs better than the x 303. i got a half *** idea how to put a cam in but i think id **** up on sumthing little so ill prolly have to wait a bit till i get more cash to buy one n tha rockers n springs n get a mechanic to put it in. i havent really looked into like any comp cams, crane or lunati ones. what one would you suggest?
