lower control arms
#2
Stock ones? remember, you get what you pay for(cheap price = cheap garbage). go to a auto zone and ask for there cheapest set of shocks/struts. as for control arm...why replace it if you are being cheap? if it aint broke dont replace it unless you want beter quality stuff. Otherwise ya may want to rephrase your question. its a bit to broad.

Unless the control arms are damaged- there's not need to replace them (except if you had a car with irreplaceable balljoints pressed into the front control arms). Bushings, however, can be replaced.
For dampers (shocks and struts): higher quality ones do cost more. IF money is extremely tight and you are forced to buy cheap aftermarket ones at Pep Boys, Napa or Autozone- I would recommend the Monroe Sensatrac over many others. However, for the same price I would get a set of KYBs from summitracing.com.
IMHO, the best damper for the money are the Koni Sports (~$90 ea).
