Default Engine Swap Questions

Ok, so i bought an 88 LX, i have a 351 cleveland to put in it, so i want to pull the 4 banger out and put it in there. My question is am i gonna have any issues making it fit aside from the obvious? Am i gonna have to pull the motor to change plugs?

It's a tight fit, but with a nice u-joint and extension- you should be fine changing plugs. I'm sure there are pictures of a FOX with a V8 in it.

Just be sure that the rest of the drivetrain can handle the torque from the V8, and that your brakes are sufficient for the extra weight.

I don't believe there's much difference in width between the 302 and 351w. If I recall, the heads are taller, but it shouldn't be a problem.

351w is a little wider and taller but fits in fox bodies. Only mods are headers designed for that specific swap, taller hood, and different oil pan.

I'm not sure about the cleveland though.
