Brake Caliper missing brake pad

alright so piston is messed up=need new caliper, rotor f-ed=need new rotor.

Was workin on it yesterday and in the middle of changin the caliper, found out one of the bolts in the caliper bracket was frozen=need new caliper bracket. Unfortunately they had to order it and i cant work on it again til next weekend.....

You didn't hear any abnormal noises when you braked. You've been metal to metal for a while for the pad to wear down enough to slip out of the holder. Yup, new caliper, new rotor & pads.

i dont think that it was the pads wore down so much, the caliper bracket was damaged.
ill see if i can snap some pics so you guys can see the carnage. and yes i did hear metal to metal, but i thought i was just getting to the time to change pads. then driving one day, i hear a thump and now my pedal would go almost to the floor before braking at all.
