Default Cutting Springs?

I don't want to dish out another $250 to lower my car, but If I get my 18" cobras, its going to look like a 4x4. Can you cut the stock springs? I would like to see how, and pictures of people cutting/what it looks like after everything is reinstalled.

Thanks,
Mike.

Looks good, cutting one to one and a half coils lowers the car roughly 1" to 1.5" respectively.

Thank-you. Is it safe to ride around with cut springs, does it make the springs wear out quicker, or is it strictly lowering, but has no bad side effects?

I cut one coil off, ride quality did not decrease with the cut. I wouldnt go more then a coil and a half so you wont have to buy caster camber plates.

before

after

Yea, I'm gonna cut one coil off, just a small drop, because it's going to look like a 4x4 with 18's on stock springs >.<
