Default Help!!!!!!! 65 w/ a 351

I have a 65 stang with a 351c in it. the problem is one that has perplexed me and my friends. It was over heating as most do, so i parked it about 2 weeks ago. I then changed the water pump, therm stat, and a new flex fan. went to start it up today and nothing.. just crank crank crank. so now i put in a new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, blaster coil. now there is spark out of the coil, wires and plugs, there is gas and air, but not even a simple explosion. it doesn't even try and fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any suggestions on what could be going on?

If it's getting spark AND fuel but not even trying to start then the timing must be screwed up

you think it could have jumped timing without being driven? that is what gets me. It ran like a scalded ape, then i parked it for 2 weeks and now nothing

my first question is are you sure your getting spark all the way down to the plug?i usually check by resting the spark plug on the block all hoked up then look to see. if that works then there is a chance you have the firing order wrong, very easy to do with so many dam plug wires. Been there done that. So as long as you didnt take the distributor out, its not likly to be a timing issue, more likly wrong firing order. That is of course assuming you have fuel like you say altho on a side note, this may sound dumb, but do you have gas in the tank? lol ive seen lots of people do this no joke, including myself once. Just my thoughts
