I have a 68 Mustang with a 289 and a c4 tranny. Starting yesterday, my car wouldn't shift out of either drive or neutral and now today I can't take it out of drive at all. I can't put it in park or neutral or anything. I can't physically shift out of drive. Someone told me it might be the linkage from the shifter to the tranny. But, before I jack up my car and risk having it roll forward and run me over I'd like to know what you guys think.
