I have a1993 lx conv. 2.3 4cyl. It hesitates and trys to stall under exceleration.....also very long crank time.....

Was the 93 EFI or carb'ed? My 85 had a carb and that sounds like the air/fuel mix could be wrong. The long crank could be the battery/alt/or started problem. Best thing to do is post this in the 2.3 section, they will have better answers.
