Default Ebay items

I was looking at ebay because I keep hearing that people buy from there, so when I was browsing I came along some BBK throttle body part #1763, they claim it's new.

I don't want to risk it and order it then find out it's missing things and it's not in good shape, but they sellers do have really good standing.

Is it worth it or not, it's gonna be 50$ cheaper than what I was able to find it online including the shipping.

I try to stay away from ebay on stuff like that. Now I have bought catback and headers and love the results. Throttle body isnt going to do what you think it is for our cars. Use the seach tool and you will see bud. I am not trying to be a dick bec i hate people that tell me the same thing but i usually find wat i am looking for with the search tool.

Ps save the money for the throttle body and get gears you will thank me later dude.

i agree. the throttle body upgrade is really only useful on our cars if you are going forced induction. too many people have had issues with the bbk not working properly, lowering HP, and throwing codes.

i have however heard decent things about putting a gt500 TB on our cars. maybe an 8-10hp gain but that requires an adapter plate to make it mount up. all said and done, you are out $500. just not worth it in my opinion...way too many other mods you can get for that price that help more.

look into gears, underdrive pulleys, drive shaft, ect. like mike said, you'll thank us later.

+1 I never buy unless the rating is 99% or higher and I always check the last year of history for any complaints. Sometimes certain stores have a wave of complaints during one specific period. Most likely someone getting fired or one person not doing their job.

I only use paypal on ebay and I don't use a bank account or debit card, just a credit card.

Thanks for all your input.

I was planning to add underdrive pulleys and gears, but I thought the TB was a good addition, I'll forget about it then and just go with those two.

I have been using ebay for years with very good results. I think ive only had 1 or 2 problems in the last 5 years and I buy alot of car stuff on ebay....but like said before, always check sellers feedback rating and their return pol.
