'94 GT convertible....I'm getting a gas smell after fueling up. Is there some vent or valve that I can look at on the gas tank?? It only happens after fueling and it last for awhile. I've looked everywhere and I don't see any leaks or anything like that. Please help!!!

 

the gasket on my filler neck-tank opening had dry rotted and was leaking on mine. it wasnt very visible but you sure could smell it.

 

There is also a purge vent valve on the top of the tank where your fuel lines go in but if that goes haywire it should start throwing codes and the check engine light will come on.
