I own a 2000 GT with 5spd with 110,000 miles

Problems-

Front bumper cover/ passenger fog light dented/busted.

Drivers door dented/creased

Passnegers side 1/4 panel rusting.

Fuel filler neck leaking(in shop now)

Only thing every done mechanically is general maintenance and new clutch/starter 1k ago.

Wants -

I'm going to start to rebuild it from ground up as a street strip car with a good suspension, not drag or road race but a good compromise.

Motor wise I want 4.6/stroker with a Procharger or turbo.


I'm looking on advice on where to start and especially best places to buy the sheet metal parts and engine suggestions.

I will also document this over the next year on here if everyone wants.
