Default ABS/Traction Control

I'm currently looking at a 2004 Mustang V6. It looks great but one thing I'd like to ask is if I should skip over it because it doesn't have ABS/Traction control. I live in Toronto so I will be driving it in the snow/ice some this winter. I plan on getting snow tires but will I be at a disadvantage not having ABS/Traction control?

TC helps in snowy/icy conditions. That said the snow tires go a LONG way towards helping. I drive on all seasons in the snow/ice in the mountains in my 67. It can be done if you know how to drive. ABS and TC are good for the average driver who can't really handle their car. The TC is nice in poor weather though, but if you know how to drive your car and are careful, you can manage.
