Responsive street car, i would go with a 2009-2010 Roush 427R.. Their handling is amazing and they have 430hp at the crank. I would say get one of those because i saw you road raced a lil bit and figure if you want an awesome street car- this is the car that has the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the reply Retro. I am spoiled in the handling department right now. My current ride is a FULLY
MODDED Mini Cooper 2006 S----lightened--removed rear seats, forged wheels , lighter tires ; lowered, adjustable suspension, caster change a-arms ; of course over driven supercharger, ported heads, cam, intercooler, Blue Flame exhaust etc , etc. I know the much heavier Stangs can't do that, but they are up in horsepower. Mini is about 240crank/2600 lbs= 10.8 lbs/HP. What will the 427R be ??
I did not track the Mini and will not track my next car. I define a poser as anyone who drives a street legal
car ( but then again , I guess I am a little radical

Heads, cams, s/c, intercooler and only 240hp? Wow those must be some small engines!

Welcome to the forum! Good luck with your next car purchase.

Yup, the Mini is only 1.6 Liter. But i am making 150HP/L while the Roush is 435/4.6=95HP/L.
Gimmie that motor so I can make 150x4.6=690HP at the crank.
I figured out the thread ordering thing..
Does anyone think the GT500 is better than the 427R and why??

Or maybe even a better question is : if the GT500 has more go but not the handling of the 427R, can I change suspension on the GT500 to get to 427R handling ??
