Default Hydroboost specification questions

Hi, I am working on a different project, a LS1 in a 944. We are putting in a Ford Hydroboost and are having some issues and are not sure if it is the MC or a mating issue with the GM PS to the Ford Hydrboost.

Does anyone have or know the:
1) PSI requirements or Volume requirements of the Ford Hydroboost from a 2000 Mustang GT 4.6 v8.
2) PSI or volume output of the Ford Mustang PS pump and its profile, is it constant or variable.

specific issue we are seeing is the Hydroboost works great at 40+ and above. At low speeds we have to double pump the brakes to get the pressure. We have done all the test we have read on the internet and are thinking it is either a bad MC or a interface issue between the GM/PS and the HB.

Your help is appreciated.

Only thing I can find for you is the specs of the pump for the hydroboost cars...

Power Steering Pump — CIII

Flow 9.8 liters/minute (2.6 gpm)
Fluid @ 74°-80° C (165°-175° F)
Engine at 1,500 rpm Pressure 1,034 kPa (150 psi)
Fluid @ 74°-80° C (165°-175° F)
Engine at 1,500 rpm Minimum capacity 4.7 liters/minute (1.25 gpm)
Fluid @ 74°-80° C (165°-175° F) Engine at idle Pressure at 5,171 kPa (750 psi)
Relief pressure 8,274-9,510 kPa
(1,200-1,380 psi)

Thanks you for your help. that is what we were looking for.

To help others, the GM pump we are using is a Turn 1 GM Pump and its spec are:

it should always be around 2.5 GPM @ 1300RPM and the pressure would max out at 1200PSI to 1300PSI.

We believe we have it working, like all one off conversaions you have a shake down phase where you get all the parts working together consistently over time.

We think the issue was air in the lines, we had bled them pretty well we thought and decided to try one more time. seems to have fixed the issue. A power Bleeder really helped this time.
