Fuel Injection ? MASS/Injectors
Hi guy's, I'm new to the thread and am working on my son's 90 5.0L convert.
We are dropping in a Ford Crate Motor
GT-40 Heads
Cobra Intake "Ported Lower"
E303 Cam
Forged Internals and should be about 9.0 to 1
1 5/8" shorty headers.
30# Injectors
77 MM Vortech 30# MASS
Now for the questions.
I'm being told that I need to Update the computer since we changed out the Injectors and Mass unit. But I have read elsewhere if you change the MASS and the Injectors at the same time you will be good.
So what do we need to do to get this to run correctly??

You should be set. Like you said, as long as the injectors and MAF are calibrated to each other, the car should run great. The car might need some fuel pressure and timing tuning done, and even after that a custom chip might be the best route.
