I have a hurst shifter in my 2005. Ever since i had it installed it has rattlled during accelaration and on the freeway. Its REALLY annoying. Shifter works just fine, short throws, doesnt come out of gear, just ****ing rattles.

is this common? Im almost ready to just put the stock shifter back in. I really just enjoy the old school look of the hurst.

 

Rattle could be were the handle bolts to the shifter, fab up a rubber gasket to go between and should take care of it
