im replacing a starter and the terminal on the power wire is very corroded so im going to replace it, the parts store only had 10-12 gauge eye-ring terminals that were weatherproof i need sumthing bigger. my question is would it be ok to use a gold eye-ring (like used for car audio) on this part. will the gold corrode fast or something due to being exposed to the elements, have a ton of these laying around dont wanna buy sumthing i dont need to
