Default 4r70w leak

my car has been sitting in my drive way for a month and noticed a lot of ATF on the floor. now when i had my tranny serviced the owner said the car had a leak on it but didn't know where...but it wasn't the pan.

from what i can see it's dripping down onto the pan even on the drain plug to the engine.
any guesses would help

Check the cooler lines and fill tube seal but I'm betting it's the front pump seal or gasket since it's that far forward. Pull the plug out of the inspection hole in the bottom of the bellhousing and stick your finger in the hole and see if there is fluid in the bottom of the bell housing. If there is, it's a pump leak.

If the pump seal or gasket is leaking, you will have to pull the tranny to replace it. If it's the seal, you will be able to do it yourself. If it's the actual pump gasket that seals the pump to the transmission case, you sill have to have it done by a transmission shop unless you have experience with taking automatic transmissions apart.
