Default RE: Best Radar Detector for the money

Well, I have had Escorts for years now and currently have a Passport 8500 in both of my cars. I haven't had a single ticket. I am 38 now and my first escort was at age 22. My wife and I are both lead foots, I street race (I shouldn't, seein' how i'm probably to old for that abd should know better) and we have perfectly clean records.

The Passport is KING as far as I am concerned. Another thing my friend has a Valentine which shows the arrows... I guess it is nice but on a road trip to the lake I picked up Radar considerably sooner than he did. And my other friend has the Cobra and that thing has more false alarms than chinese eat rice.

i recommend the escort 8500 radar detector, its a little pricey but its worth it and definatly one of the top detectors out on the market... i like it alot!
