Default seat swap - need help

ok i dunno if this is the appropriate section or not, but my passengers seat back rest is shot (lines bad to the towards the drivers side, has a gangsta lean), and the springs on the drivers side cushion or non-existent, my butt goes right to the floor pretty much. so i went to u-pull-r-parts today, got a alot of stuff for the jeep, but there were absolutely no mustangs of any year. i searched the whole yard and non of the 300+ cars were stangs. so i went with the cousin, a cougar with red leather seats. these seats are so comfy! for now i only took the passengers seat and upon bringing it home, noticed the mounts are completely different. so before i begin modifying them, i have a few questions..

1) anyone know if i can just switch the tracks?

2)bigger question, so the drivers chair in the cougar has all power. no manual operations at all. thats the reason i didnt take it. so ive wired up lots of things, how hard would it be to wire up the electronics in the seat?

id really like to use these seats, paid $15 for the passengers seat and this car is only a daily driver so im not gonna do racing seats, its just a 2.3 haha.

any help is greatly appreciated! thank you!

Seats from a Mustang style Capri would also work. Not the last ones they made, but the early to late 80s cars.
