EFI to Carburetor Conversion

Has anyone converted an EFI 302 to a Carbureted 302. I have an '88 302 EFI.

Yes its pretty simple.Just get a intake and carb and start unbolting parts

Don't forget to swap out your distributor too..

Why do U wanna pitch the EFI?

I want to swith to Carb because I think it looks a lot better. Plus I won't ahve to hassle witht he computer crap that is involoved with EFI.

I wouldnt say HP reduction....with the right set up it should be a good HP gain! Its the reliability you will give up. I had two friends both with 5.0L. This is when the cars were only a couple years old. One switched to a good carb set up and would easily walk on the EFI. It was close before the change, but he would lose.
