Question 302 in a v6 mustang 1997

So ive finally decided that for the money i can put inot a v6 to make it somewhat fast or to sell my v6 and buy a v8 would be far more money then to just convert my v6 to a v8. Sure its a lot of work but if gives me some experience and a peice of work ive built myself. Buti have a few questions im building a 302 out of a 1990 f150 im completly redoing the motor making it carborahted and building the entire thing.
Will it hook up to my 1997 v6 mustang transmission?
Will the drive shaft hold up to the power of a v8?
What other problems will i run into other then upgrading my suspension and rear?
Thanks for any help

transmission, mounts, pulleys, ac compressor, drive shaft, rear end, fuel pump, oil pump, you would be better off selling the entire car, buying a mustang gt thats just missing the engine or a blown up engine and doing that.

Cheaper to sell the V6 and buy a V8.
For the money you'll burn building an old worn out 5.0 into something better just to swap in, you could make equal power from the V6.

I suggest a good used 4.2L bottom end, blower cam with Super Coupe heads and the Super Coupe M90 set up (but upgrade to a front mount intercooler). That will give you a nice 400+ rwhp V6.

You already have the v6 you would be better off to build it up.
