I need a new key for my 2007 convertible...the dealer wants $80.where can I get it for less.....thanks and Merry Christmas.......

 

I think this is a ford dealer thing. I paid $150. just a few weeks ago. They have to cut your key and them put your car on thier computer and read the code that goes to the chip in the key. It took them about one and ahalf hour to do mine. It cant be done very quickly or without your car being there.

if you already have to keys just buy on cut for 15 at the dealer and the owners manual tells you how to program. if not the dealer is your only option
