RE: how would i no- hydrolic clutch?
Hydrolic clutch is refering to a hydrolic system that uses DOT 3 brake fluid. It consists of a master cylinder and a slave cylinder. If you have a hydrolic clutch system you can tell by looking under your hood, if there is a resivour for clutch fluid then its a hydrolic system.
Manual clutch systems use cables, or other linkage methods. No fluids or cylinders... pretty easy to tell really.

Help us help you! what year Mustang are you working on what mods do you know it has. Hell take a picture of what your talking about and we will be able to help you a little better. It's probably your master cylinder that your talking about that takes the dot 3 stuff. It might also be your blinker fluid resevour

If you only see ONE resevoir it's almost certainly brakes. If in doubt just follow the lines coming out of the cylinder. Should be 2 for brakes, 1 for a clutch. Or just look at the top of your clutch pedal. If you see a cable, you should be able to find the cable coming through the other side of the firewall, and follow it back to the tranny...

A lot of cars/trucks that use a hydraulic clutchs these days now feed off the Brake Master cylinder. So you would still only have one resivoir. My wife's 2002 Escape was like that.
