Hello everyone. I believe this is one of my first posts here and im glad to be here.

I am planning on buying a 1993 Mustang LX without a motor or trans and i have a 351 Windsor/C6 that i plan on putting in it.

I know a decent amount about motors but i need help picking parts, I dont know what parts work together and everything as far as valves, springs, rockers, pushrods and all that. I am on a budget so i will retain the stock bore and stroke and just look to put a decent cam, higher compression pistons and redo the stock heads with some newer stuff. My motor is a 1989 so it is a flat tapper cam style. I would appreciate if someone could tell me some budget parts to build this motor up. Id like to stay under $1K and i dont have a problem buying used parts.

 

I saw the thread in the other section about the swap and that helps a lot but i still need someone to help me pick parts that will all work together.
