Thinking of buying a Stang, need help please
Hello,
My name is SGT Betancourt, I'm in the Army & I'm stationed in Fort Stewart, GA. Somebody is selling me a 2003 Ford Mustang V6 with 128K Miles for $5000. Car includes new tires, brand new brakes & rotors, PS2 system with screen, Panasonic CD player with kicker amp & Kicker Solobaric L7 in a pro box, hood with hood scoop, new headlights, it has a CAI & magnaglow dual exhaust, real clean interior, the interior was immaculate, I was shocked at how clean it was. I took it to autozone & they scanned with the OBC2 reader & it came up as O2 sensor so he wasn't lying. Car is very clean & engine bay looks great.
The bad:
Driver hit deer & bumper needs replaced
O2 sensor is bad
Is this a good deal for $5K or should I keep looking? I thought it was a good deal but wanted to see here 1st. If somebody could do me a huge favor & check the VIN for me here it is: 1FAFP40493F450916.
The other car is a 2002 Mustang GT with 67K miles, leather, Mach 1 system, Bullit rims, new tires, etc. for $7500. Which would you guys choose? Thanks, I greatly appreciate it.

I'd go with the GT. Lower miles, bigger engine, less mods. I don't like to deal with other peoples headaches and a modlist more than a set of tires and an airfreshener makes me think twice. Plus if he hit a deer it could be more than just a bumper, like frame damage and a lingering pissed-off deer ghost turning your car into the worst exorcist sequel ever. I digress, you got my two cents.

I hit a deer in my 98. hood, fender, light, and paint was quoted at 2k in damages. I would go for the GT, sounds like its lived a better life. The sixxer sounds boarder line ricer, so its probably been beat on driveline wise

I would but it's for my wife really, don't want to spend that much. I just got a 2010 Tacoma Crew cab with all the options & don't want to have another note. I want to pay cahs & be done with it.
Anyway, I went to look at that GT & the exterior was beat up so I didn't take it. I'm going to keep looking around & hopefully find a GT for a good price, people seem to be asking a lot for them down here. I greatly appreciate your help guys, take care & have a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!
