I am building a 73 fastback with my daughter and it is going to have an auto trans. We have a 87 block in the shop to build a 347. We want an overdrive so what transmission are you guys having luck with lasting with a 347.

An auto with o/d for a SBF leaves you somewhat limited to the AOD. Unless you want to get a Chevy trans to fit. There are plenty of people with well built AOD's running behind 347's.
