I am trying to find out if its ok to use? It wont melt or anything right? Not really sure what temperature plastic melts but the engine compartment does not get hotter than 210° for the record

Different plastics melt at different temps, but it should be OK. I don't know about your year car, but most cars have plenty of split loom tubing under the hood. The classics may not have, but all the new ones do.

if you actually look at your engine compartment ford has put that on quite a bit of the stock wiring.

your engine compartment may not be hotter than 210 but places close to the motor can get pretty hot just FYI.

should b fine. dont do any ricer crap though. try it out and just check it periodically for a week or two and make sure it doesnt start to give out.

Thanks guys. Just want to protect wires and organize them with it. It's going to be against the strut tower which is already black so it wont be noticeable

I have used braided nylon extentsively on my 65 and am well please with it. The link below is a place to buy it. It is cheap, looks clean and comes in several colors and sizes. One note, when you cut it to length, you may want to melt the end to stop it from unraveling or just zip tie it.
