Default Cigarette Lighter/Power Adapter not working

Hey,
Got my girlie a new phone charger for her car. Problem is, when its plugged into either of the cigarette lighters in the center console, nothing happens. Works flawlessly in my truck. Don't know if this is a new problem or not. Neither of us smoke and she's never had a car charger before. I can't find anything in the FSM about the cigarette lighters to try and diagnose this. Searching the forum also didn't produce any results. Any ideas? Blown fuse? Thanks...

There is a fuse in the box under the hood that is probably blown. Does the car have power driver seat? I believe it may be the same fuse. On my 95 it is anyway.

On both my 99 GT and my 02 GT the 12V plug by the shifter would not power anything besides an actual cigarette lighter. On my 99 I replaced the front one with one that has a similar design as the one inside the center console. I had to play with it a little as the ground side of the plug is different between the two connections within the two plugs. Once I swapped in the new one it worked fine. It sounds like the one in your center console has a blown fuse and the one in front might be experiencing the same problem I had.

Can anyone tell me the fuse number for a 2009 Mustang V6 cigarette lighter?
