I currently have a 1993 mustang LX with a 4 cylinder engine.
i need help on deciding the best engine i could swap with that to give it a lot more HP because my car now is basically weak. i want to soup it up and make it fast. but i need help on deciding what engine would fit in the best.

big block ford or chevy. Chevy is cheaper because you can get good used chevy parts everywhere. A 5-600 CI BBC with a 3-400 shot of sauce is the best thing you could do.

 

well i plan on making this car into a monster in the future but it needs a lot of work done to it. the engine has 180K miles on it now so i was looking to swap it with a more powerful one. and i would be willing to spend 5,000-6,000 to get a new engine a transmission maybe change it from automatic to manual trans. its a work in progress. does anyone have any good websites i can go look on for cheap engines and like body kits or anything. just good websited in general. thanks
