clutch slip?

how many miles on it, any mods done or under stock power, what rpm did you dump it at, did you try to use the brakes to do a brake stand. could very well be the stock clutch starting to fail. if it is you can still get some life out of it if you baby it.

Yea, you don't say how many miles it's done.
The stock clutch is on the soft side, I've been told that after asking the same question myself after having experienced the same symptoms.
It seems that sometimes the clutch does it, and sometimes it hooks, I reckon it could be a lazy slave cylinder.

Car has 40k on it. CAI,throttle body spacer, lowered 2 inches. I think you guys are right, clutch, and self, getting soft. Car is very sensitive to weight.
By the way, I shaved the damn fake gas cap on trunk lid. Looks perfect.
